The Salem Lady Wildcats traveled to Marion for their first indoor meet of the 2026 season on Thursday. As a team, they finished 5th overall.
Top performers for the day were Finley Puricelli (2nd: 400 meters; 4th: High Jump; 7th: 200m)
Carly Veach (2nd, 60m Hurdles; 8th 60m; 8th 200m)
Emily Parrett (2nd, Shot Put)
Ella Smith (3rd, Shot Put)
Emily Runyon (6th: Pole Vault)
Blake Jourdan (8th: Pole Vault)
Kinsey Jarrett (10th: Long Jump).
Carly Veach set new school records in the 60m Hurdles (9.80) and 60m Dash (8.28), breaking her own records she set in 2025.
The Salem Lady Wildcats will run again next Friday at SIU.
