Centralia Police have arrested an 80-year-old Carlyle man on weapons charges. Malcolm McGregor of Hickory Street was taken to the Marion County Jail by Centralia Police for alleged possession of a stolen firearm, possession of a weapon by a felon and possession of ammunition by a felon.
Two people arrested Tuesday morning on outstanding no-bond failure to appear warrants in Marion County major traffic charges were released later in the day on pretrial release. They are 33-year-old Kassandra Ruckman of Chicago Avenue in Wamac and 32-year-old Trenton Pearson of State Route 37 in Kinmundy.
