A 29-year-old Kell man has been arrested in connection with an early Wednesday morning burglary to the Toad Alley Smoke Shop at 110 West Poplar in Odin.
Dillon Charlton of 6th Street was taken to the Marion County Jail for burglary, criminal damage to property and theft.
Marion County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to a burglar alarm going off at 3:06 Wednesday morning. When arriving, the front door had been damaged and entry had been made.
An investigation that included the cooperation of the owners and local cameras developed Charlton as the suspect. He was later taken into custody at his home.
