The Patoka 5th/6th graders took 3rd place at the Breese Hot Hoops 6th Grade Tournament over the weekend.
Patoka opened with a 39-10 win over Wesclin with Noah Cain, Grant Eddy, Knox Kuhyn and Carter Thompson leading the balanced attack with 6 each.
Patoka then dropped a tough one to Aviston 27-25. Hunnar Murfin had 8 points and Noah Cain added 7 rebounds in the loss.
Patoka then beat Mater Dei in the 3rd place game 38-29. Noah Cain had 12 points and 7 rebounds, Grant Eddy 10 points and 8 boards and Murfin finished with 8.
