One person was taken to Salem Township Hospital following a two vehicle crash on South College Street near the Little League Complex in Salem on Thursday night.
Salem Police say 78-year-old Karen Spieth of Adams Road in Kell crossed the centerline and struck the driver’s side corner of an oncoming vehicle driven by 29-year-old Shane Parker of College Street in Salem.
Police report Spieth may have suffered a medical problem that led to the crash. She was transported to Salem Hospital by United Medical Response.
Parker was not injured.
Salem Firemen were called to assist, but said no extrication was necessary.
The crash occurred at 6:30 Thursday evening.
