The Salem Wildcats dropped their last regular-season game last night to Roxana. The final score was Roxana 57, Salem 51. Salem was only outscored in the first quarter 15 to 4, but was never able to close the gap. Salem was led by Ryegan Warren with 18 points. He was also 6 for 6 at the free-throw line. Kaden Bevalo was also in double figures, with 11. Salem drops to 12 and 18 on the year, 3-7 in conference. The Wildcats open regional play next week. The win assures Roxana of at least a tie for the conference championship. They have now won seven games in a row and are 22- 8 on the year and 8-2 in conference.
