The Wesclin Warriors improved to 21-7 as they outshot Salem from the free throw line 16 to 4 on their way to the 59-45 victory.

 

The Wildcats cut the deficit to 5 a couple times in the fourth quarter, but Wesclin came up with big shots from Eli Wellen and Bryce Haar in the win.  Wesclin finished 13-16 from the charity stripe, while Salem was just 2-4.

 

Gavin Rahm scored 23 to lead the Warriors with Wellen adding 17, 11 in the fourth quarter, and Haar had 17.

 

Salem was led by Avery Gullion with 15.  Kaeden Bevolo, Luke Boldt and Logan Butts had 6 points each.  Ryegan Warren and Payton Gullion finished with 4, 2 each from Owen Tennyson and Gavin Harper.

 

Salem will host Wood River on Friday and will honor their senior.
