Two people were brought to the Marion County Jail on Monday on outstanding no bond warrants. 48-year-old Gary Miller of South Maple in Centralia was arrested on an outstanding St. Clair County warrant. 31-year-old Bailey Wagoner of Maplewood Drive in Salem was arrested on an outstanding Jefferson County warrant and later transferred to the Jefferson County Jail at Mt. Vernon.
58-year-old Samantha Smith of Chicago was given a notice to appear in court after being arrested by State Police for alleged driving under the influence and speeding more than 35 miles per hour over the speed limit.
The Salem Fire Protection District was called to the Hunter Law Office at 104 West Main Street just before six am after a fire alarm sounded. No fire or problem was found.
