The Franklin Park volleyball team will host Selmaville in the Battle for Salem today at the Bobcat Den.
Franklin Park beat Patoka last night. The varsity won 25-9, 28-26. The JV won 25-4, 25-6 and the Salem 6th grade opened the night with a close 2 set win.
Selmaville is coming off a close 3-set loss to conference rival Willow Grove/St Mary 22-25, 25-14, 12-15. Alana Howe and Gia Ward had 10 points for the Rockets. Selmaville JV won their match in straight sets with Grey Garden serving 9.
Iuka fell in three close sets to St Peter 25-17, 23-25, 14-16. The St Peter JV also were winners 25-17, 25-17.
Patoka is at home against Mulberry Grove.
