Centralia Police say no one was hurt when a car broadsided a Centralia High School Bus while it was crossing McCord Street at the Country Club Road intersection on Wednesday afternoon.
Police say the car driven by 44-year-old Tiffany Tipsword of Bee Branch Road in Salem was westbound on McCord when she apparently failed to stop for a red light and ran into the bus driven by 57-year-old Tammy Applegate of South Pine in Centralia.
There was only one high school student on the bus at the time. Both the student and Applegate along with Tipsword all escaped injury.
While the bus was driven away, the car had to be towed.
