The Marion County Soil and Water Conservation District board members and staff are reminding everyone the ticket deadline for the upcoming 81st Annual Meeting and Dinner is coming up next week. The event will be held on February 19th at the Marion County Fairgrounds Exhibit Building.
The doors open at 5:30 p.m. The evening meal begins at 6:30 p.m. The Catered meal includes Fried Chicken and Ham along with; Twice Baked Potato Casserole, Gourmet Baby Carrots, Green Beans, Homemade Noodles Seven Layer Salad, Rolls and Butter.
Three District directors will be elected during a brief business meeting after the evening meal. Selected area Landowners and cooperators will be honored with conservation awards. The 2025 winning soil judging team, LUC 13 Envirothon and poster contest winners will also be recognized. The evening will conclude with the presentation of door prizes.
Tickets are $10.00 and can be purchased from the district office located at 1550 E. Main Street in Salem. They can also be reserved by calling Jonathon at 618-548-2230 Ext. 3. The deadline to purchase or reserve tickets is February 12th.
