A 30-year-old Centralia resident was arrested by Centralia Police on a Marion County felony failure-to-appear warrant stemming from a retail theft case. Nikkita Campbell of North Pine was taken to the Marion County Jail.
Marion County Sheriff’s Deputies have arrested an Odin man on an outstanding Clinton County warrant. Jerome Alsept of Penfield was later transferred to the Clinton County Jail at Carlyle.
State Police arrested 47-year-old Torrence Twyman of Indianapolis for driving on a suspended license. He was later released on a notice to appear in court.
Salem Firemen were called out around 6:30 Saturday morning to a report of smoke in a home. The call was to the Ray and Brenda Robinson home at 2121 Poplar Street. The problem turned out to be a power strip was smoking after going bad.
