A 36-year-old Centralia man has been sentenced to four years in prison for felony criminal trespass to property.
Matt Claxton of Haussler Street was charged with entering an apartment at 600 Hickory Ridge last June when he knew or should have known a person was present inside.
Claxton was charged at the same time with violation of the sex offender registration charge. He received a three-year sentence on that case, to be served concurrently with the criminal trespass charge.
Claxton will have to serve six months’ mandatory supervised release when getting out of prison. He was given credit for 209 days already served in jail while the charges were pending against him.
