It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Bobbie McClelland, a beloved mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, who passed away peacefully on Saturday, December 13th, 2025, at the age of 64.

Born on Thursday, May 11th, 1961, in Centralia, Illinois, the daughter of Rollin Homann and Iris “Christine” (Lewis) Homann.

Bobbie was known for her compassionate spirit and dedication to helping others. She was a proud Registered Nurse for 32 years, a career through which she brought comfort and care to countless individuals, embodying a passion for taking care of people that was felt by everyone she encountered. Bobbie McClelland’s kindness, warmth, and unwavering love will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by all whose lives she touched.

Bobbie leaves behind her cherished children, Kristena McClelland of Centralia and Travis James McClelland, along with his wife Tarah, of Leasburg, Missouri. She was a proud grandmother to four grandchildren: Taylor, Emma, Bryson, and Kevin, whose presence brought immense joy to her life. She is also survived by her two devoted sisters, Janet Homann of Callahan, FL, and Vickie Nollman of Mt. Vernon, as well as two stepbrothers, Michael Homann and wife Robin of Glen Carbon, IL, and Thomas Homann of Comer, GA, along with several adored nieces and nephews.

Bobbie was preceded in death by her parents, Rollin and Christine Homann, beloved sister Mary Janell Moll, and great-niece DeAngelique Anderson.

An active member of Grace Church in Mt. Vernon, Bobbie was not only committed to her faith but also enjoyed the simpler pleasures of life, such as coloring, reading, watching movies, and cooking. Her family and grandkids were her pride and joy, and she treasured every moment spent with them.

A Funeral Service to honor Bobbie’s life will be held at Hillcrest Lakeside Chapel in Centralia, Illinois, on Wednesday, December 17th, 2025, at 1:30 pm. Friends and family are invited to pay their respects during the visitation, starting at 12:30 pm at the chapel, leading up to the time of service. Bobbie loved animals, in lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests memorial donations be made to the Jefferson County Animal Control. Donations will be graciously accepted at the Sutherland-Garnier Funeral Home, located at 235 North Sycamore Street, Centralia, Illinois 62801, who is honored to serve Bobbie’s family.
