Today is the SSM Health/WMIX Shootout in Mt Vernon. Casey and Nashville junior high will lay a girls and then boys game to start the day at 11 and 12:30 followed at 2 by the Mt Vernon Lady Rams and Mt Carmel. Then Breese Central boys will play Gateway Legacy at 3:45, Desmet and Belleville West at 5:30 and the final game will be Mt Vernon and Alton at 7:15.
The Cuss Wilson Classic will be held at Marion. A girls game between Triad and Marion open the day at 11 then boys games the rest of the way with Vienna and Effingham at 1, Robinson and Carlisle County, Kentucky at 2:30, Lawrenceville plays Meridian at 4, Waltonville and Carbondale at 5:30 and then at 7 its Freeburg and Marion.
Also today is the Hooping Shootout at Galatia. The day begins at 9:30 with Galatia and Thompsonville fresh/soph followed by Shawnee and Grayville. Then Agape Christian play Johnston City followed by Century and Grayville. At 5pm tonight Christ Our Rock will take on Soldan, Missouri then Massac County and Madison followed by Galatia and Dongola.
