Julia Ann (Jensen) Langenfeld passed away on Monday, December 1, 2025, in St. Louis, MO.
Born in Highland, IL, she was the daughter of Louise (Simmons) and the late Dr. Roger Jensen.
She married Forrest Langenfeld on June 9, 1978, in Centralia, where they still reside.
They were blessed with two beautiful children. Daughter: Kathy resides in St. Louis; son, Andrew, resides in Celebration, FL.
In addition to her husband and children, she is survived by her mother Louise, sister Pam Kreke, brother J.R. Jensen, sister-in-law Bobbie, brother Jeff Jensen, sister-in-law Mary Jo, sister-in-law Tammy Jackson, and brother-in-law Ben. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews, whom she adored.
She was preceded in death by her father, Dr. Roger Jensen, her mother and father-in-law, Paul and Wilma Langenfeld, and brother-in-law, David Kreke.
She graduated from St. Louis College of Pharmacy in 1980 and proudly served the Centralia community for 38 years as a registered pharmacist until her retirement.
Per Julia’s wishes, cremation rites will be accorded, and a Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, December 5, 2025, at 1:00 PM at the Sutherland-Garnier Funeral Home in Centralia with Pastor Tony Paulson officiating. Visitation will be held on Friday morning from 11:00 AM until the time of the service at the Funeral Home.
