The City of Kinmundy will delay its lighted Christmas Parade, scheduled for Saturday night. Due to the weather forecast that contains the possibility of snow, the parade has been moved to Saturday, December 13th. The parade will start at five pm near the city park and travel through downtown back to the park.
Mayor Angie Diss says other activities scheduled for this Saturday will continue as scheduled. Santa will be at the Kinmundy Library from 3 to 4:30 pm.
Soup will be served beginning at four at the Kinmundy Community Center, followed by an auction at 6:30 featuring toys and other items. You can also purchase toys to give to children in need through the Kinmundy-Alma Fire Department’s annual Christmas for Kids program.
