The Salem Ministerial Alliance Bell Ringers for the Community Fund begin ringing the bells this Friday and Saturday. The goal once again this year is $20,000.
The bell ringers will be at Farm Fresh Market from nine am to seven pm and Big R and Walmart from nine to five both days. Bell ringing skips next weekend and then resumes on December 5th and 6th, 12th and 13th, and 19th and 20th.
The community fund helps area residents and transients with one-time emergency needs throughout the year.
