The Wayne County Sheriff’s Office and Probation Department plan to continue conducting similar operations in the coming months as part of a sustained, county-wide effort to reduce drug related crime and promote public safety.

Wayne County Sheriff Chris Otey says drug use brings with it a wide range of other criminal activity, and they will continue working tirelessly to address both the drugs themselves and the ripple effects they cause in our communities.  Otey says these operations are just one part of their ongoing strategy to keep Wayne County safe.
