A 44-year-old Salem woman was sent to the Marion County Jail from court on Thursday after being sanctioned to serve ten days in jail. The sanction was handed down for allegedly violating pre-trial release.
Centralia Police arrested 31-year-old Kyle Roe of Centralia for disorderly conduct and assault. He was taken to the Marion County Jail. Roe told police he was homeless.
44-year-old William Thacker of Centralia, who also said he was homeless, was arrested on an outstanding Missouri probation warrant.
35-year-old John Reardon of Charlottesville, Virginia was arrested by Illinois State Police for obstructing ID and resisting arrest.
No one was injured in a car-deer crash on I-57 northbound two miles north of Salem Thursday night. Initial reports indicated the car was smoking, but Salem Firemen report there was no fire. State Police handled the crash.
