Last night, Johnston City won their 2a opener over Wesclin 38-25. In 4a, Rochester pounded Taylorville 56-7 and Waterloo upset Mt Zion on the road 14-13. In 6a, East St Louis beat Plainfield East 63-7 and in 7a, Edwardsville lost to Oak Lawn Richards 33-14.
