Two people were taken to SSM Health St. Mary’s Hospital in Centralia following a two-vehicle crash at East Broadway and McCord in Centralia on Monday.
Centralia Police say 75-year-old Daniel Schaefer of Farthing Road in Centralia was westbound on Broadway when he made a right turn onto McCord and struck an SUV driven by 38-year-old Donald Calvert of Golf Lane in Centralia.
Both Calvert and a passenger in the Schaefer vehicle, 72-year-old Linda Schaefer of Farthing Road, were transported to the hospital for treatment of injuries. Daniel Schaefer refused hospital treatment.
Schaefer was ticketed for failure to yield at an intersection.
The crash occurred at eight Monday morning.
