In 1a at St Elmo, the hosts knocked off Patoka 25-19, 25-11 to advance to the semifinals. Also last night CHBC upset Altamont 25-16, 25-16. The semifinals are tonight as South Central will take on Okawville at 6pm followed by CHBC and St Elmo/Brownstown.
Also in 1a quarterfinal play at Casey, the hosts beat Neoga and Lawrenceville beat Villa Grove. At Elkville, Elverado beat Sesser Valier and Cisne eliminated Christopher. Carlyle won their match at Nokomis over Dieterich 25-11, 25-12 and North Clay nipped Raymond Lincolnwood. At Sparta, Steeleville beat Dongola and Sparta over Mounds Meridian. At Thompsonville, Wayne City beat the hosts and Crab Orchard over Gallatin County. Windsor won at home as they beat Okaw Valley.
1a semifinals are tonight. Christ Our Rock is in action at 6pm at Nokomis when they take on the top seed and hosts followed by North Clay and Carlyle at 7pm.
