Salem Police are seeking a hit and run driver who struck a bicyclist on West Main while exiting the northbound exit ramp from I-57 late Tuesday night.
The bicyclist struck is identified as 42-year-old Craig Taylor of North Hotze Road in Salem. Reports indicate he rolled over the hood and hit the driver’s side mirror knocking it off. While Taylor had visible signs of injuries, he declined hospital treatment.
Police are reviewing video of the area to try and get a better description of the car which is described as a white sedan.
The crash occurred at 11:01 Tuesday night. Anyone with information about the car involved in the crash is asked to call Salem Police.
