In middle school boys basketball, Raccoon’s John Organ joined brother Michael in the 1000 point club, doing the honor last night in their 45-33 win over Central City. Organ finished with 20. Oliver Worlds chipped in 11 and Keegan Brammeier added 8.
Iuka beat Geff 63-23 behind 22 points from Eli Bookhout with Vince Krajefska added 13. The Iuka JV won 48-8 as Hosea Weems finished with 12 and Trevin Lewis 8.
St Mary’s/Willow Grove improved to 3-1 with a 33-18 win over Odin. Jimmy Gaston led the way with 13 and Callen Williams added 12.
Summersville beat OLMC 53-9 and in the win, 8th grader Brantley Tate eclipsed the 1000 point mark for his career.
