The IHSA soccer sectional semifinals are today. At Effingham, the host Hearts take on upset minded Carlinville who as the sixth seed has already beaten 2nd seed Hillsboro and 3rd seed Litchfield in the post season. The second semifinal will have Rochester taking on Teutopolis.
At Father McGivney, Massac County is playing in their first ever sectional taking on the top seed and hosts followed by Columbia and Alton Marquette.
