The SC Lady Falcons earned a win over Cumberland 35-11. The JV opened the night with an 11-5 loss. The varsity will open up play in the Junior NTC Tournament tonight when they play Sacred Heart at 6pm. The winner advances to the quarterfinals tomorrow to play 3rd seed CHBC.
Also tonight, Cumberland and Brownstown/St Elmo play to see who gets top seed Dieterich tomorrow and Windsor/Stew-Stras plays Altamont with the winner getting 2nd seed Altamont. The other quarterfinal game is Neoga against North Clay tomorrow.
Last night in regular season play, Nashville beat Centralia 53-13 and Wayne City over Rome 36-34.
