29-year-old Centralia man declined hospital treatment for apparent minor injuries sustained when his motorcycle hit a deer on Green Street Road near the Scout Road intersection Friday night.
Preliminary information from the Marion County Sheriff’s Department indicates Tylor Paskavich of South Sycamore was alone on the motorcycle when the crash occurred.
An Air Evac Medical helicopter was initially dispatched, but was canceled after Paskavich was checked on the scene by United Medical Response, but declined medical treatment.
The Salem Fire Protection District was also called to the scene to assist.
The crash occurred at 10:20 on Friday night.
