A wrong way crash on South Poplar Street in Centralia late Monday morning resulted in one person being injured.
Preliminary reports from Centralia Police indicate 76-year-old Vicky Heinrich of Davis Road in Vernon turned northbound onto Poplar from Sixth Street. She collided with a southbound car driven by 56-year-old Steven Jose of James Street in Centralia.
Jose was taken to SSM Health St. Mary’s Hospital via Life Start Ambulance for treatment.
Heinrich was ticketed for traveling the wrong way on a one way street.
The Centralia City Fire Department was also called to the scene.
The crash was reported at 10:30 Monday morning.
