Kaskaskia College recently celebrated the accomplishments of its Diagnostic Medical Sonography (DGMS) Program graduates during the 25th annual pinning ceremony earlier this month. Ten graduates from the 2024–2025 academic year were recognized for their dedication and achievements.

In addition to receiving their program pins, two students were honored with the Outstanding Student Award for their exceptional academic performance—Avery Killion of Okawville and Shawnee Voss of Carlyle.

The DGMS program is a 3½-semester certificate program that equips students with a strong foundation in physics, as well as abdominal, obstetrical, and gynecological principles essential to the field of ultrasonography.
