A 17-year-old One Hope United juvenile girl who promised to stay out of trouble if released back to the facility in Centralia pending a sentencing in a robbery case now faces multiple new charges following a new altercation.
Centralia Police arrested the girl for three counts of aggravated battery to a police officer, one count of aggravated battery to an emergency medical employee, and resisting arrest after allegedly refusing to go to the hospital to be checked after allegedly taking drugs.
Employees at One Hope had called for assistance after the juvenile had returned to campus and would not go to SSM Health St. Mary’s Hospital.
The juvenile was taken to the Marion County Jail to await a court appearance on Thursday. She was supposed to be sentenced on a robbery charge last week, but the hearing was delayed.
