Centralia Police arrested 40-year-old Richard Burkett of South Poplar in Centralia on Saturday for felony criminal trespass to property with a person present and misdemeanor criminal trespass.  He was taken to the Marion County Jail to await a decision on formal charges and a first appearance in court on Monday.

Wamac Police arrested 30-year-old Zachery Higgins of South Cherry in Centralia for motor vehicle theft, retail theft, forgery, and deceptive practice.  He was also wanted on a Marion County no bond felony failure to appear warrant.

Wamac Police arrested 23-year-old Marcia Sussen of Centralia for alleged possession of stolen property, driving on a suspended license, and on a no-bond Marion County felony failure to appear warrant.

Central City Police arrested 26-year-old Richard Potter of Eugene Street in Central City for alleged domestic battery and unlawful restraint.

30-year-old Thomas Crooks of Ruble Lane in Salem was arrested for battery on Friday. After going to court, Crooks was sentenced to 30 days in jail for violating an earlier pre-trial release.

39-year-old Corey Anderson of East Huron in Irvington was sanctioned to 48 hours in jail for violation of pre-trial release.

40-year-old Brandon Whitman of West McCord in Centralia was taken to the Marion County Jail on a no-bond driving under the influence warrant.

36-year-old Charles Allison of Selmaville Road in Salem posted $1,000 bond and was released for contempt of court in a civil court proceeding.
