The seeds and post season volleyball assignments will be released at the end of the week.
The Salem Lady Wildcats are in 2a this season and will be in the Wesclin Sectional. Their sub sectional includes Breese Central, St Anthony, Greenville, Effingham, Nashville, Pinckneyville, TTown, Wesclin and Vandalia. The regional sites are Greenville and Effingham.
Olney will compete in the Benton Sectional along with Flora with Hamilton County and Mt Carmel the regional hosts.
In 3a, Centralia will be in the Triad Sectional. Their sub sectional includes Mater Dei, Cahokia, Carbondale, East St Louis, Marion, Mascoutah with regional hosts Mt Vernon and Waterloo.
In 1a, area teams for the most part will compete in Sub-Sectional A of the Raymond Lincolnwood Sectional. Those teams include Carlyle, Christ Our Rock, South Central, Patoka, Sandoval and St Elmo. The regional sites are Nokomis and St Elmo.
Woodlawn will be competing in the Trico Sectional with regional sites of Elverado and Thompsonville.
