Two people remain in the Marion County Jail on outstanding warrants.
47-year-old John Zawez of Salem Mobile Home Park was arrested following a brief foot chase with a Marion County Sheriff’s Deputy who recognized him as wanted when he got off a bus in downtown Salem. He’s being held on a no bond felony failure to appear warrant.
47-year-old John Vincent of South College in Salem was arrested by Illinois State Police on a 2001 Marion County misdemeanor warrant. He was taken into custody following a traffic stop. Vincent is being held in lieu of $5,000 bond.
