Central City Cross Country competed along with area schools at the Pre-State Meet at DuQuoin over the weekend with 50 boys teams and 191 runners the Citians were 8th as a team. Kolton Cook led the way 5th with Zayne Allgood 52 and Mike Sutton 59.
With 167 racers in the varsity girls race, Nyla Biggerstaff was 96th.
