State Police say a 35-year-old Dieterich woman was injured when her SUV collided with a deer on I-57 southbound at the 121-mile marker, five miles north of the Salem exit.
The airbag deployed, but the Salem Fire Protection District says the driver did not need assistance out of the car. She was transported to Salem Township Hospital for treatment.The woman’s name has not been released.
The crash occurred at 11:54 Saturday night.
