Salem Police arrested a 34-year-old homeless Salem man on Friday morning after being found inside a vacant home on Allmon Street.

Police went to the home after a neighbor reported the door to the house had been kicked in and found Patrick Dulaney inside.   He was arrested on a warrant for failure to appear in court last month on a domestic battery charge.

No new charges were filed against Dulaney, but in Marion County Court later on Friday, Judge Mark Stedelin agreed to the State’s Attorney’s office’s recommendation for a 30-day sanction for violating a court order. Dulaney will receive a day-for-day good time.
