A 76-year-old Carlyle woman has died in a two vehicle crash on a Missouri highway near DeSoto in Jefferson County.
The Missouri Highway Patrol reports Patricia Van Hoose was traveling northbound on Missouri Route 21 Tuesday morning when she crossed the centerline and hit another car head on.
Van Hoose was transported by Arch Air Medical Services to Mercy Hospital in St. Louis where she was pronounced dead.
The driver and two passengers in the other vehicle, all from Missouri, were injured.
