In 1a, at Carlyle, Father McGivney was the champion shooting 313, Staunton shot 320 and Litchfield 324. Carlyle was 4th as a team, Sandoval 6, Vandalia 10 and Altamont 12. Litchfield’s Sam Schwab shot 71 to win the event. Sandoval’s Beau Chapman advanced shooting 73 and the Carlyle duo of Jax Johnson 82 and Gannon Meyer 83 will also move on.
Red Bud won the Gibault regional shooting 313, Nashville 346 and Gibault shot 348 to advance. Not advancing was Woodlawn who was 7th shooting 363 and Christ Our Rock sho shot 440 and was 13th. Red Bud junior Jack Muench shot 73 and was medalist. Woodlawn’s Kyle Cooper advanced as an individual shooting 85. Silas George led Christ Our Rock shooting 89 but did not advance.
Ttown won the Hamilton County regional shooting 292, Mt Carmel 315 and Hamilton County 316. It’s the first regional golf title for Teutopolis in school history. Flora shot 360 and was 11th. TTown’s Coen Pennington shot 69 to win the tournament. Flora senior Noah Hatcher moved on with an 81.
