Central City varsity boys are the conference champion as Kolton Cook won the title for the 2nd year in a row. Mike Sutton was 4th, Zayne Allgood 5th, Braxton Bitters 9, Gavin Pender 10 and Boden Goewey 11.
In the varsity girl’s race, Nyla Biggerstaff and Quincey Simpson were 6 and 9.
The JV boys were led by Bentlee McElroy who was 8 and Abel Amason 11.
The JV girls got 8th from Addy Sanders, Hailey Cullip 16 and Cece Watts 19.
Central City also competed earlier this week at Kaskaskia College. The varsity boys were 1st overall. Cook won that race as well with Mike Sutton finishing 14 and Zayne Allgood 16.
Nyla Biggerstaff was 52nd in the varsity girls race.
Medaling at the event were Kolton Cook, Mike Sutton, Zayne Allgood, Braxton Bitter and Addy Sanders.
