Both drivers were injured in a two-vehicle crash at Elm and Kerr in Centralia early Wednesday afternoon.
Centralia Police say a car driven by 52-year-old Kenneth Venters of Penfield Street in Odin pulled from the stop sign on Kerr and hit the side of an SUV driven by 29-year-old William O’Neill of Cove Lane in Centralia. The impact caused O’Neill’s vehicle to overturn on its side.
Both Venters and O’Neill were taken via Life Star Ambulance to SSM Health St. Mary’s Hospital for treatment of injuries.
Venters was ticketed for failure to yield at an intersection.
The crash occurred at 12:04 Wednesday afternoon.
