Iuka won their Class S baseball regional knocking off host Patoka/Odin 7-5. The Pirates flipped the game in the top of the sixth trailing 4-2 as they would score 5 runs in the inning. The biggest blow was a double by Hosea Weems after a 7-pitch at bat that drove in 3. Vince Krajefska allowed 6 hits and no earned runs over 5.2 innings for the win. Nolan Eddy and Hunter Hyde each drove in a run for Patoka/Odin. Iuka advances to the Class S State Tournament next weekend.
The Franklin Park Bobcats will take on Wesclin today in Salem for their Class L regional title game. The winner will advance to Marion for the Class L state tournament next weekend.
