Two people were taken to the Marion County Jail on outstanding no bond failure to appear warrants on Thursday. 55-year-old Marjorie Woodward of Hoots Chapel Road in Salem was arrested by Marion County Sheriff’s Deputies on a major traffic warrant and 51-year-old Christopher Walker of East 13th in Junction City who was arrested on a misdemeanor warrant by Sandoval Police.
Sandoval Police are investigating a burglary to a home in the 300 block of East Oklahoma as well as the theft of a chain saw and other tools from a home in the 300 block of East Texas. Both cases were initially reported to the Marion County Sheriff’s Department.
The Marion County Sheriff’s Department is investigating vandalism to a pool in the 2100 block of Poplar Street. Video shows two young people reportedly slashing the pool causing the water to pour out.
