A 45-year-old Centralia man was injured in a single vehicle crash late Wednesday night on the Walnut Hill Road in Walnut Hill.
Preliminary information from the Marion County Sheriff’s Department indicates Brooks Alcorn of Woods Lane was traveling eastbound on the Walnut Hill Road when he went into the ditch on the south side of the road, crossed several driveways, and then turned into a yard before coming to a stop.
Alcorn was taken to SSM Health St. Mary’s Hospital in Centralia via Life Star Ambulance for treatment of injuries.
The Centralia Fire Protection District was also called to assist.
The crash occurred at 11:23 Wednesday night.
