The KC Cross Country team competed at the Bradley Intercollegiate Invite, the biggest meet of the year. There were just under 30 colleges from throughout the Midwest.
The Blue Devils were 19th out of 23 teams with 239 racers. Oliver Lee led KC with a 29:13 time over the 8k course. Brady Marshall (29:31) was next and Blake Heimann (29:51) followed. Andrew Latham (30:04), Jack Walters (31:26) and Will Tepe (32:24) followed with Noah Markus (33:32) the final Devil across the line.
The Angels were 20th led by Gracie Morgan (21:17), followed closely by Rylee Brammeier (21:14) over the 3 mile course at Detweiller Park in Peoria. The #3 counter was Alli Lammers (21:49), then Kyndall Sturgeon (22:16), Ryann Becker (22:45), Ivy Donoho (23:33).
KC will travel to Normal for the Heartland Invitational a week from today.
