A single-vehicle crash Saturday night on Selmaville Road near the curves at the Nation Road intersection southwest of Salem resulted in minor injuries.
Initial information from the Marion County Sheriff’s Department indicates the car lost control on the curve and went into a wooded area, hitting some trees before coming to a stop.
The driver, 18-year-old Jonathon Lyons of Walnut Hill, and a passenger, a 17-year-old juvenile female, were out of the vehicle upon arrival of emergency help.
The two were treated on the scene. It was not immediately clear if either had to go to the hospital.
The crash occurred at 7:30 Saturday evening.
