It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Kattie Rozkiewicz, 67, of Salem. She was born in East St. Louis to Rolla and Betty (Tucker) Summers on March 15th, 1958.
Kattie was a simple yet strong woman. She was an excellent homemaker, mother, grandmother, daughter, and sister. Nothing made her happier than being in her home surrounded by her family, especially her grandchildren. Family was the focus of her entire life. She will be missed by everyone who knew her.
She is survived by her significant other, Edward Kinney, of Salem, Son Rollie Rozkiewicz and his wife Samantha of Salem, Son Michael Rozkiewicz of Alma, Daughter Virginia Kinney of Salem, Sister Penny Rogers of Salem, Brother Ricky Summers and his wife Robin of Bluff City, Illinois, and several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her parents: Rolla and Betty Summers; two sisters: Violet Summers of Ironton, MO., and Roxanna Just of Salem; and two brothers: Bobby Summers of Ironton, MO., and Terry Summers of Sandoval.
