Pennypacker’s HR Leads Franklin Park over Centralia

The Franklin Park Lady Bobcats beat visiting Centralia 14-2.  Skylar Gaston was the winning pitcher striking out 8 and allowing just 1 hit.  Brinn Detmer struck out 2 in relief.  Bre Pennypacker continues to crush the ball going 3-3 driving in 4 and hitting her first homer of the year.  Detmer also drove in 3 runs on 3 hits.  Kaylee Carol had 2 RBI and McKinleigh Parker drove in a run.  Macy Canon and Josey Gibson scored twice.  Salem will finish the regular season tomorrow at home against Nashville.


Crist Gets 100th K in Raccoon Win

Raccoon defeated Odin 18-4 and in the win, Nadea Crist got her 100th strikeout.  Lilly Wynn hit her first home run and drove in 3, Emerie C luck added an RBI, Julianna Rushing added 2 and Crist drove in 3.  Kloey Wuehler also drove in a run.  Crist gave up just 2 earned runs and struck out 8 in the win.


Howe Gets Record…Goostree Solid as Selmaville Beats Woodlawn

Selmaville capped off their regular season with a 7-4 win over Woodlawn.  Karmen Murray doubled and drove in a run.  Gwen Goostree went 3-4 and scored twice.  Kailey Meredith drove in 2.  Coming into the game, Alana Howe was tied for the single season stolen base record of 62, but Howe passed Johnson with another one last night giving her the record alone.  Gabby Goostree notched her 19th win of the year striking out 15.  She has 174 strikeouts on the season.  The Lady Rockets will open up regional play next week.

 


Field Comes Back To Beat  Bethel

Field was down 6-3 after the top of the 2nd inning, but they would plate 11 runs in the bottom of the 3rd to win 16-7 over Bethel.  Hadley Richardson tripled and drove in 3, Kylee Holder added a double wit h3 RBI and Mira Colclasure also drove in 3 runs.

 

Also in softball play, Nashville beat Trico 10-7 and New Hope over Summersville 11-4.
