A 51-year-old Centralia man has been sentenced to three and a half years in prison for possession of under five grams of a substance containing methamphetamine.

Timothy Marshall of Clinmar Street admitted to having meth in his possession in January of last year.  He was eligible for an extended term due to a prior felony conviction in Marion County.

When getting out of prison, Marshall will have to complete six months of mandatory supervised release.   He will get credit for time already served.
