The Salem Wildcat golfers finished 2nd to the host Rangers at the Benton Invite 305-319. The Cats were one stroke ahead of Mt Vernon. Kyler Sapp and Landen Maxey both shot 75 to finish tied for 5th. Sawyer Wilkerson shot 69 to win the event for Benton. Mt Vernon’s Xander Ashby shot 72 for 2nd and Waltonville’s Brendan Klingler shot 73 to tie for 4th.
Jaxon Ward was 18th with his 82, Eli Lograsso 26th shooting 87 and Scout Puricelli shot 90 to finish 35th.
The Salem JV will compete at Sandoval today.
